Gabby and Gigi (AL) are bonded female Chihuahua mixes rescued from an Alabama kill-shelter, where - scared and shy - they clung together for comfort.  Their bond is very strong and they must be adopted together. They are both approximately 25 lbs and Gabby is estimated to be 4 years old, while Gigi is thought to be 5-6 years. With their terrifying shelter experience behind them and a little TLC, they are now blossoming and the lucky family who adopts them can count on a double dose of daily joy! Their foster mom says they are charming, playful and ridiculously affectionate. They are very social with people once they get to know you, and they like other dogs and even cats, with proper introductions. They need space (inside and outside) to run around and play. They follow their person around like ducklings, because they want to be your everything, so they will do best with someone who is home for the most part. Their favorite position is snuggling with each other, preferably on top of a human, for hours!  If you have room in your heart and your home for these two delightful characters, please apply to adopt at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.

RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption

Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
