Brody, a male Labrador Retriever/Bloodhound mix, was estimated to be a year old when rescued from a South Carolina shelter in January 2021, severely emaciated and with a painful skin infection. He was likely born with a neurological condition which has left him with rear-end muscle weakness. He has some incontinence, which requires wearing a belly band, and he needs a ranch-style home with no stairs, or very few. But he doesn't let his mild disability hold him back!  He is a super-friendly, loving, playful and fearless pup with an amazing happy spirit. He loves people, dogs and even cats and is very affectionate and gentle. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption
