Found on the side of the road thrown away like trash. Beaten, broken, neglected and obviously abused. His body tells a story of pain and suffering for who knows how long. At only a year and a half old this tiny little 30 pound boy named Yoshi has suffered enough. We rushed him to our vet where his wounds were carefully cleaned and we could get a better understanding of what he has been through.
Yoshi had multiple wounds on his body and an abscess growing on the side of his neck. X-rays revealed old and new injuries on his little body. His front leg looked swollen and painful and turns outwards as he walks. This is a result of a broken leg that was not treated so it did not reset in place. Because it has healed so much it does not make sense for us to break it and reset it at this point. Yoshi still walks but does get tired easily so he is not a very active boy. He currently has a drain in his neck that will be removed soon from where the abcess was and we are treating his skin condition that is not contagious. He is a very affectionate and loving dog always looking for a lap to crawl into. He is now ready to find his foster or forever home!
