Leo Rivera is a pup to Lily Rose. To know Leo, you must know his mom Lily's story. Lily  Rose was pulled from a high kill facility in Georgia. She suffered with severe mange, and was extremely pregnant. In addition she was heartworm positive. Two weeks after being rescued, she gave birth, but there were complications, her birth canal was blocked with a stillborn pup and she was rushed to emergency surgery. Sadly, she arrested on the table and passed away during delivery, leaving her tiny babies behind for us to care for. Leo Rivera and his siblings are being bottle fed, and supplemented with milk and care from Pocohontas, another rescue mom who became fur friends with Lily Rose.
