Penny is a 1 year old lab/golden mix female who was brought into the shelter in West Virginia with a ruptured eye. Local rescue advocates reached out for assistance and we brought Penny into our rescue. The vet feels she was hit by a car, rupturing her eye. It was determined upon examination that she also has an old fracture injury to her jaw that prevents her from opening her mouth wide. Penny will probably lose her eye.
