Nova was rescued from NYCACC Manhattan. He is a 1 year old male pit bull terrier mix. Nova was surrendered because of 'allergies'. His previous owner stated he lived with children and a Chihuahua and was fine with both, his play style regardless of whether animal or human is described as 'exuberant'. Nova is already neutered and is up to date on shots. He likes playing with toys, but if left alone in the home will chew up 'fluffy things like pillows' and will surf through the garbage. Much of this behavior is due to the fact that he is still a puppy at 1 year old, and basic obedience training should curb this behavior.
