Yoda is a 2 year old shepherd mix. His owner passed away and his family threw him into the street. He wandered the neighborhood for 2-3 months, and no one took him into their home, no one showed him love and attention or made sure he was safe. Yodas condition deteriorated. Animal Control became aware of his presence and trapped him, and Rescue Dogs Rock NYC stepped up and brought him into rescue. He is currently with our vet partner being treated. His skin is healing nicely and fur is growing back slowly. The staff said Yoda is the sweetest little guy. He weighs just 27 pounds and will gain another 10 pounds. Yoda will be up to date on shots and neutered when medically appropriate. He is good with all people and other dogs.
