Pablo is an 18 month old shepherd mix. This poor boy was found scavenging for food in an abandoned mobile home. He must have been alone a long time to have such severe conditions. Pablo had demodex mange (non-contagious), skin infections, he was emaciated, had tick disease along with many other health concerns. Rescue Dogs Rock NYC stepped in to help Pablo and rushed him right over to our Vet partner. He has been receiving treatment for over a month and is finally heathy enough to get transported closer to continue to get healthy. We are looking for a family that can show Pablo he is safe and loved. He is unsure of himself and would do best with a resident dog that can guide him. We also recommend if there are children in the home that they are older, more mature children who recognize his need for space.
