Lemon (AKa Annie) is a 5 year old, 29 pound beagle. She is up to date on shots and is scheduled for spay mid March. Her foster mom says she is so incredibly sweet! She is great with all people and other dogs. Her owners were were placed in a nursing home and sadly, she spent a month alone with ten other dogs in the home, fighting for scraps, before being rescued. We are working with Lemon to help her understand she does not have to fight for food and water again. At this time, it is recommended that access to food and water be given separately from other dogs in the home until she can trust that she will have what she needs without worry. She is crate trained and seems to feel comfortable and safe there, she loves to cuddle, and she is superbly housetrained! All she needs now is a loving forever family.
