Sweet Penny is an 8 year old, 33-pound pocket-pittie looking for her forever home. She was originally dumped in a kill shelter by her owner, who had no use for her after she provided precious puppies for the owner to sell. She then went to a 'forever' home, only to be given up again after a few years, because she and a small dog in the home didn't get along, so Penny had to go. Penny needs and deserves a stable home that really is forever now. She loves people, including children, and does well with calm, confident dogs her own size: no large or tiny dogs for Penny, thank you! She prefers to eat by herself, in her crate, and is afraid of loud noises, so a calm household in a quiet neighborhood would be perfect. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue. All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
