Birdie was seen running around traffic in south Texas. When rescuers got to her, she led them to her sister Bernice as well. Birdie is about 8 months old. She is up to date on shots (age appropriate) and will be spayed prior to placement in her forever home. Birdie is good with all people and other dogs. She and her sister Bernice are bonded, which means that they should be placed in one home together. Their foster mom says this about them: "They are extremely sweet and great with other dogs big and small. They love affection and are perfectly crate trained. They are perfect little pups. I dont think they will get very big, maybe 30 lbs at the most? They are good with cats and not food aggressive. They are learning to sit but get excited for treats."
