Peaches is 2 years old, and was emaciated beyond belief at ONLY 15 POUNDS when we brought her into rescue. Peaches is now 28 pounds and is doing very well! Peaches is very sweet and so grateful for a kind touch and soft nice words. She is up to date on shots and will be spayed prior to placement in her forever home. She is great with people of all ages, and other dogs. Her story? She was part of an active cruelty case in Georgia. She and 3 other dogs were left on chains in the Georgia heat, abandoned, no shelter, foor or water, to die a torturous death. Sadly, the other female with her, whom was named Sasha, passed away early on the morning of 7/25, just as rescue transport was reaching them to bring them to our specialist.
