This GORGEOUS boy is Marcos! Marcos is a 3.5 year old Great Pyrenees who was brought into rescue from Texas. He was in bad shape when we first got to him...he had been hit by a car and his pelvis was shattered. On top of that this sweet boy was so very emaciated and it was clear that he had endured so much neglect and suffering. We got Marcos immediately to our vet partner where he received all the medical care that he needed. He had surgery to correct his pelvis and is doing great! He will always need some pain management for his hips because of the severity of his injuries and the intensive surgery he underwent. He is doing wonderful in his foster home but would really love a home to call his very own! He's packed on some good weight is currently up to 100 pounds! He can become scared around loud noises and would do best in rural/surburban setting with a fenced yard. Due to his old injuries, his ideal forever home would be one with older kids who understand his space and won't jump all over him. He does great with other dogs, doesn't mind them at all but is not overly eager to be playful. Puppies or younger very active canine friends may be a little overwhelming for him. He's a very loving, sweet, gentle giant but is a guardian breed so needs a family that understands these traits. Marcos is lower energy and would make a great cuddle buddy and lounge around companion! He is up to date on shots and neutered.
