This handsome boy is Newt! What a cute name for this 2 year old Hound mix! Newt weighs about 25 pounds and comes into Rescue from a high kill shelter in Texas.  He was found wandering the streets and has a skin infection most likely caused by lack of nutrition.  Newt is recovering and getting some much needed TLC with our Texas vet partner. Up until now he has not been given the life he deserves and he is looking for that special someone who can show him the unconditional love that he has lacked for so long.  Newt is wonderful with people of all ages and great with other dogs.  He will be neutered and up to date on vaccines prior to placement in his forever home.  If you would like to make Newt the newest member of your family please fill out an adoption application here: http://www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org/general-application
