Gem is a 1 - 2 yr old Carolina dog/Husky mix who weighs 40 pounds. She comes into rescue from Texas, where she was found abandoned and alone on the streets scrounging as best she could for food and shelter. She would love a forever family of her own with other dogs and a big yard to run and play...a family that can show her all the love and happiness that she has not known yet and surely is so deserving of. Gem is wonderful with people of all ages, other dogs, and also cats! What a good girl! Gem is up to date on vaccines and has been spayed. Her foster mom says she is a silly girl, who loves to play and cuddle and who truly just enjoys life. In fact, in the words of her foster mom: " She is perfect! Good with kids, dogs, cats, and mail carriers! Super sweet and gentle. Sweet kisses... takes treats magnificently. She is house trained, crate trained, and a total love.
