Meet Foxy! Foxy is a precious 6 year old Chihuahua mix who weighs 12 pounds. She comes into rescue from Texas. Foxys previous owners put out an ultimatum that she had 6 hours to find someone else to take her or they were going to toss her out on the street. She had already been an “outside” dog so this was just another step in her ongoing abusive life. Of course we weren’t going to let this girl suffer this life of neglect for one more second and she is safe with us now. Foxy had a large inguinal hernia but after spending some time with our vet partner, she is now all fixed up! Foxy is so adorable and can be a little shy at first but once she warms up she is such a sweet girl. She deserves so much more than the life she has previously been given and we can’t wait to find the special someone who will treat her like the princess she is. Foxy will thrive in a calm and quiet forever home where there are no young children or high energy pets. She will be spayed and up to date on vaccines prior to placement in her forever home.
