Meet Risa! Risa is a precious one year old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who weighs 15 pounds. She comes into rescue from Texas. Risa found herself all alone in a filthy, scary high kill shelter. As soon as we found out about Risa we immediately got her to safety and she spent some time with our Texas vet partner receiving some much needed medical care. Risa is so sweet and loving and on top of that is just the most adorable little princess! She would really love to have a home to call her own. She needs someone who can make her forget all about her neglectful past and fill her future will nothing but the love and happiness that she deserves! Risa is great with people of all ages and other dogs. Her foster mom says she is very playful, is great on leash, house trained, and sleeps through the night! What a good girl! She is up to date on vaccines and will be spayed prior to placement in her forever home.
