Meet Paxi, an adorable 1.5 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, rescued with her fur sibling Polo, a Lab mix. A bonded pair, they must be adopted together. We were alerted to a Craigslist ad which made it clear Paxi and Polo were in need of immediate rescue. Paxi had obviously been mistreated and neglected. She had trauma to her head, her eyes had cuts on them, her teeth were in bad shape, and she was very scared at first...it was clear that she had experienced abuse at the hands of humans. Paxi and Polo will never have to worry again and we will make sure these sweethearts have only the best from here. With the love and care of our vet partner and her foster mom, Paxi is doing great and is all healed up! Paxi and Polo are ready to start their new life with the special someone who can give them all the unconditional love they deserve and make them forget all about the horrors in their past. Paxi is wonderful with people of all ages, other dogs, and even cats! She is pee pad trained and her foster mom says she likes to just be indoors with her people and doesn’t really enjoy the outdoors too much. She is spayed and will be up to date on vaccines prior to placement in her forever home.
