Gino is an absolutely stunning 1.5 year old Flat-coated Retriever. He comes into rescue from Texas. Gino has suffered an unimaginably brutal past. Someone cut his tail completely off and he found himself alone and terribly injured at a scary shelter. His tail injury was not a new one and is badly infected. Gino is with our vet partner getting the life saving medical treatment he needs. When Gino is ready, we would love to have a forever family waiting for him. Surely this sweet boy deserves so much more than what he has endured in life so far and we can’t wait to see his boy happy, loved, and thriving with his special someone! Even after all the pain that humans have caused him he still has the best disposition and is so loving and always smiling! He is wonderful with people of all ages and other dogs. He will be neutered and up to date on vaccines prior to placement in his forever home.
