This handsome hunk is Wayne! Wayne is a 1.5 year old Pit mix who comes into rescue from Texas. One of the cruelest things you can imagine happened to Wayne when his “owners” decided he was no longer wanted and threw him out of a moving car. Wayne was rushed to our emergency vet partner where we worked diligently to save this sweet boys life. His jaw was detached from his mouth and he has had surgery to repair the damage. Wayne still has a little way to go in his recovery but we hope to have him feeling better soon and would love to have an amazing forever family ready and waiting for him when he is all healed up! Despite what Wayne has been through at the hands of humans, he remains such a super sweet and loving boy. He is wonderful with people of all ages and other dogs. We can’t imagine how someone justified doing this to such a gorgeous and good natured dog. We will make sure from here on out that this big love bug has only the best...we can’t wait to find the special person who can show him so much love that he forgets all about his horrific past.
