Meet Gideon! Gideon is a 6 year old Shepherd mix who weighs 70 pounds. He was in horrific condition when he came into rescue. He had been trying to survive alone and severely injured  on the harsh streets of Texas. Upon arrival to our vet partner it was determined that poor Gideon was emaciated, had a severe case of mange, and had been hit by cars most likely on several different occasions. He has severe hip dysplasia that will need surgery to correct but we are committed to this amazing boy and will have him feeling better very soon. He is in a loving foster home now and doing great! He is pretty much the perfect dog! He is perfectly behaved in every way and loves kids and dogs of any size, although he is not a fan of cats. He is undeniably handsome and such a sweet and friendly boy. Gideon will be neutered and up to date on vaccines prior to placement in his forever home. He needs someone who can finally show him what the good life is like! Someone who can shower him with all the unconditional love and happiness that he has been missing out on for so long.
