Isiah, estimated to have been born in 2017, is a male Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix found in a church parking lot in rural Georgia with 2 embedded collars and a huge mass between them. Now fully healed, Isiah is very loving and sweet, but he clearly had a very rough start to life and needs very slow introductions to new surroundings and new people. He needs a calm home in a quiet suburb with a fenced yard to run and play and an experienced, patient female owner. If there is a man in the home, he would need to be very patient and gentle - something in Isiah's past has made him fearful of men. He gets along with calm, friendly dogs with proper introductions and he loves his daily walks. Isiah is a great dog, who has experienced physical and emotional pain and deserves only the best moving forward. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue. All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
