This little cutie is Penny! Penny is a 7 month old Basenji mix. She was found abandoned with her 4 siblings in a South Texas gulley. This family of pups were left alone and scared to fend for themselves, huddling together in a drain pipe for shelter. We are so glad that we were able to get them all to safety and now they can start their new amazing lives! Penny can’t wait to have a home to call her very own and a nice warm bed to sleep in every night. She is a friendly girl who is wonderful around people of all ages and other dogs. Her foster mom says that while she can be playful she also has a quiet and submissive side and is pretty low maintenance after a good bought of play with her siblings! She is working on crate training and her leash manners. She loves to be close to her people and is a spunky girl with lots of energy! A nice fenced yard would be ideal for this active girl! She will be spayed and up to date on vaccines prior to placement in her forever home.
