This most precious girl is Katie. Katie is a 3 month old Yorkie mix. We received a call from one of our local emergency hospitals when Baby Katie came into the hospital with her owner, very weak, lethargic, sick, and weighing only ONE pound. Her owner had purchased Katie off an Instagram post about 3 weeks prior and Katies health had been declining ever since she got her. Instead of being proactive and bringing Katie to a vet, she waited and failed to do anything until Katie appeared to be near death. Sadly Katie’s owner had no interest in taking responsibility for Katie’s illness and surrendered her on the spot to the ER Hospital. We in turn were called and asked to help Katie, and we of course we said yes to this little angel! It was determined that Katie has the deadly Parvo virus but she is a fighter and we will do everything we can to pull her through this. She is just the cutest, sweetest little love bug and we would love to have someone ready and waiting to give her the new life she deserves when she has recovered. She is going to make such a wonderful addition to the lucky family that gets to adopt her! She will be spayed and up to date on vaccines when medically appropriate and prior to placement in her forever home.
