Pepper (black and white) and her brother Peter, had been found in a box in the middle of a field in North Carolina. One of them still wore the collar given by the previous owner, but with no identifying information. They were wet and laying in their own poo inside the box, terrified and hungry. When our volunteer arrived on the scene, she was very upset to see these two little babies discarded like yesterday's news, frightened and all alone. Pepper is a black lab mix who was born in September 2018. She is with foster now and doing well. She is up to date on shots (age appropriate) and will be spayed prior to placement in her forever Home. Her foster says both Pepper and her brother are curious, neither is alpha, they follow each other around. They are wee wee pad trained, learning basic obedience commands, and playful as they should be!!! They are great with dogs, Cats, kids and babies (although they are teething so they still need to learn what is and isn't a chew toy!) This adorable little girl will be a great fit for any home!
