Chelsea comes to rescue from a South Carolina shelter, at 6 years old and she was overweight at 27.0 pounds. Chelsea is a Shih Tzu blend female. Chelsea does have a condition typical to Shih Tzu's called 'dry eye' and may require eyedrops. Chelsea has been spayed prior to coming to rescue. She is up to date on shots, great with people and good with people and good with other dogs of all sizes. She has been in foster and doing very well:  has lost some weight, loves to go for walks, and is the happiest little girl!  Her foster mom says:  " She is estimated to be around six years old, is spayed, up to date on her shots, is completely potty trained and house trained. She nicely takes an ointment for dry eye each day, but has no issues with it. She is still working on losing a few pounds so daily exercise is important.
