About Kentucky

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: 4489
  • Exercise Needs: Low
  • Reaction to New People: Cautious

Kentucky (Millie) is a 15 year old Setter female who comes to rescue when the two women who lived with her were murdered. Kentucky was bleeding from her nose, and it was suspected she was injured in the attack. Kentucky is up to date on shots and has been spayed. She is a timid girl, who tries to avoid eye contact. She has been very quiet with our veterinary partner, and we are sure she must be suffering some awful memories. Kentucky deserves lots of love, understanding and patience. She deserves a peaceful home, where she can lay in the sun and enjoy the feel of grass on her feet without any worries. Kentucky does have hip dysplasia and cataracts as well as suspected chest trauma. She is currently with our veterinary partners receiving a full assessment and treatment. If you would like to adopt Kentucky when she is ready, please put your application in here: http://www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org
