Our handsome Oden is a 1.5 year old Beagle mix who weighs 35 pounds and comes into rescue from Texas. Oden was saved from a high kill shelter when he came in unable to walk with severe wounds up and down his legs.  He was most likely hit by a car and then spent several weeks in this horrific condition. His spine is fractured in multiple places and due to the continuous dragging of his hind legs for such an extended period of time we know for sure that he is going to need at least one leg amputated. Right now his wounds have been cleaned and tended to by our amazing SA Vet Partner, where Oden will be kept comfortable. He will continue to recover with one of our medical fosters who will take great care of him until he is ready to travel to a home of his very own. We hate thinking of Oden alone and crippled out on the harsh streets trying to fend for himself while being so critically injured. It is our vow to find Oden the most amazing new home where he will finally know the meaning of unconditional love as he is SO deserving of this! He is absolutely the sweetest boy and is friendly to all he meets...people of all ages and other dogs. He has a strong will to survive and a big heart of gold and we know that he will make an amazing addition to any home. Oden will be neutered and up to date on vaccines prior to placement in his forever home.
