Meet Iggy! Iggy is a 6 year old Chihuahua who weighs 10 pounds and comes to rescue from Texas. This poor boy was attacked by another dog and suffered extensive injuries as a result. He was non weight bearing on his hind end when we got to him and it was determined that he had perforated lungs and multiple rib and spinal fractures. He has gotten all the expert medical care he needs with our vet partner and now he is doing great! He is absolutely the cutest little boy around and is such a sweet and friendly guy. He is an amazingly valiant little man. He has healed so well and has adapted to his limitations with grace. He will scamper his way into your heart. Although he will never walk normal again, he gets around just fine and is able to mobilize on his own. He is doing well with potty training and has adapted to defecting without being able to round his back. He is incredibly happy and loving but likes to be the leader of his pack so a home where his canine friends are non dominant would be the perfect fit for him! He absolutely adores his humans, and will make a devoted companion and snuggle buddy. He has been neutered and is up to date on vaccines.
