Meet Gunther! Gunther is a 2 year old Shih Tzu Mix who weighs 15 pounds and comes into rescue from Texas. It was obvious by the condition he was in when we got to him that he had been trying to survive on his own on the harsh Texas streets for quite some time. He ended up getting hit by a car and that’s how we were alerted to his situation. Thankfully he didnt have any critical injuries from the accident but he was still in horrendous overall condition. He was matted so badly and had green pricklys sticking into his hair, face, and body. We got this boy immmediatley to our vet partner where he has received all the urgent medical care he needed and he also got a much needed make over! Boy oh boy does Gunther look fabulous now! He is so stinking cute with his fresh new haircut! He is sweet and friendly with people of all ages and other dogs. He has been neutered and will be up to date on vaccines prior to placement in his forever home. All Gunther needs now is a home to call his very own!
