Precious Zoey is a gorgeous 12 year old Pit mix girl. She comes to rescue from a high kill NYC shelter. Zoeys story is unfortunately one of great heartbreak. This poor senior girl had been owner surrendered twice to the shelter and returned to the owner both of those times. The third time she was brought in she was half the weight she used to be. So severely emaciated at only 25 pounds and clear to see the obvious life of neglect that she has had to suffer through. She is friendly with people of all ages and with other dogs. Zoey even does ok with cats! She will make such a loyal and loving companion to the lucky one that can finally give her the happy ever after that she is so deserving of.
