Meet Beaver! This handsome boy, born in late 2017, is a Lab mix who weighs 42 pounds and comes to rescue from Texas. He was found as a stray, living in a pile of trash and trying to survive on his own. When rescued, Beaver’s mouth was covered with masses, which were later determined to be a hybrid of viral warts and cancerous tumors. After surgeries and successful medical treatment, Beaver is officially a SURVIVOR ! He is now happy, completely healthy and ready to find his forever family.
Beaver loves being outside and would make a perfect companion for someone who enjoys hiking, walking, or running. He does wonderfully with all adults and children that he has encountered and enjoys the company of most dogs. Beaver is working on his tolerance of cats, but he still gets very excited when he sees them. Beaver is extremely smart and has been responding well to basic training. He is fully house trained, up to date on vaccinations and neutered. This amazing boy deserves to be loved and spoiled as he has already been through so much in his life.
