Handsome Gavin, born in 2016, is a German Shepherd mix who weighs 93 pounds and was found roaming the streets of Frisco, Texas scavenging for food. Besides having been a stray and scrambling to survive, an extreme injury to his back leg had gone untreated for so long, our vet determined that the only course of action was to amputate his leg. Gavin also suffers from a seizure disorder, which is under control now with medication. He is a big, friendly love bug and is wonderful with people of all ages, including young children. Gavin would do best in a home with another dog, including a more dominant/alpha dog. He even does ok with cats! Gavin is housetrained, doesn't chew or jump up on furniture; he is the perfect gentleman although he does still seem sad. Gavin is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is going to make an amazing addition to any home. If you would like to make Gavin the newest member of your family, please fill out an adoption application for him here!
