This sweet girl is Cherry. Cherry is a 7 month old Terrier mix who weighs 11 pounds and comes to rescue from Texas. In her short life here on earth she has already been the recipient of cruelty, suffering, and abuse. Cherry was hit by a car and brought into a kill shelter. She was wet and filthy from the pouring rain where she languished outside until she was picked up in a park by Animal Control. The impact caused poor Cherry to sustain a severe femur fracture. As soon as we heard her plea we stepped in immediately and got her to our vet partner. She will now get orthopedic surgery by a board certified surgeon to fix her leg and very soon Cherry will be feeling so much better. We would love for this precious girl to have a forever family waiting for her when she’s ready! She is so deserving of the best new life where she can just soak up all the love in the world and never have to worry about going through anything like this ever again. Cherry is so loving despite what she has endured and will make a great addition to any home. She is friendly with people of all ages, other dogs, and will be spayed and up to date on vaccines before she goes to her forever home.
