Beautiful Tasha is a female Boxer mix born in approximately June 2016 and rescued in Texas from a junkyard where she was chained with other dogs. Her owner injured her pelvis and knee after running her over but didn’t get her medical care. Immediately after coming into rescue Tasha had FHO surgery and later TPLO surgery.  In addition to her injuries she was underweight and her coat was not in good shape due to malnutrition and just general lack of care. Tasha was a timid girl at first...weary of humans and what might come next from them as no human had ever treated her with love and respect.  After spending some time with her medical foster, Tasha is all healed from her injuries and has now filled out and weighs 53 pounds with a beautiful shiny coat. She is learning that humans do have good things to offer her and has blossomed into a happy and much more trusting girl. She also very much enjoys tennis balls and the company of her canine friends and would do best in a home with at least one other like sized doggie companion. What she really needs now is someone special to give her the home of her Dreams! She is an absolute sweetheart and deserves to finally get the unconditional love that has been missing from her life for so long. Tasha is undoubtedly going to make such a loyal and loving companion.
