Meet Harrington!  Harrington is a 10 year old, male Terrier mix who weighs 10 pounds and comes to rescue from Texas.  Harrington was in rough shape when we found him, and he was missing hair due to skin infections. Harrington has received the medical care he needed and now he is ready for the special someone who can finally show him what love is. He has had to endure and suffer through too much neglect in his life, and now it’s time for him to experience the good life!  Harrington needs some time to warm up to people, but once he gets to know someone, he is so loving.  He just wants to be close to his person and curl up in your lap. Harrington is super low energy, is relaxed and chill, but he also likes to play.  He gets along with big a nd little dogs. He does have a cataract in one eye requiring daily eyedrops and he startles easily on that side.  Because of this he might do best in a home with older children.  Harrington would do well in the city or in the suburbs.  Harrington has some allergies that require ear drops and a special food.  He does not like to go outside and prefers his wee wee pads.  Harrington would prefer that his forever person be home with him, but if not, another dog can take their place!   Harrington is looking for that very special person who can patiently allow Harrington to be Harrington.  W e can’t wait to finally see this handsome guy in a home of his own where he can finally get all the good things in life that he’s been missing out on.  If you can open your heart and home and give Harrington his happy ever after, please fill out an application at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org .
