Meet Gemma!  Gemma is a female Shepherd mix born in December 2018 and rescued in Texas.  Poor  Gemma was hit by a car, dragged, and ended up on the side of the road severely injured and left alone to die.  Gemma had to have partial amputation of one of her front legs since the damage was too severe, but she has a prosthetic and it doesn't slow her down! She has not let this experience and trauma affect her sweet and playful demeanor.
