Give a big hug to Maddox (SC)!  This amazing boy is a Pit mix born in 2018. Maddox (SC) had been left tied to a tree by his "family" after they moved out and abandoned him. Maddox (SC) was tied there for three months while a neighbor occasionally fed him when he thought of it. Maddox (SC) was finally rescued by a sheriff's officer who went to the property to serve an arrest warrant. Maddox (SC) came into rescue incredibly emaciated, and we thought we might lose him. But he rallied and is now well on the path to recovery. After all that, it's amazing that Maddox (SC) is still a sweet, funny boy who loves everyone. Maddox (SC) is friendly with dogs, children and people of all ages and will make a wonderful addition to any family.  He is up to date on vaccinations (age appropriate) and will be neutered prior to joining his forever home.  We promised Maddox the day he was rescued that he would never, ever be mistreated again and that the rest of his life would be filled with love, treats, toys and soft beds.  If you can fulfill our promise to Maddox, please fill out an application at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org .
