Meet Leonardo!  Leonardo is a male Pit mix born in 2016 and rescued in South Carolina where he was found on the side of a road in a totally emaciated condition.  Leonardo is now back up to his normal weight, and his horrific past has not affected him. He is super playful, happy and has personality galore!  Leonardo does best with smaller, female dogs as he tends to be overwhelmed by larger dogs and other males.  He was cat tested at the vet and passed with flying colors! Leonardo is friendly with people of all ages and will make a wonderful addition to any family.  He is up to date on vaccinations (age appropriate) and will be neutered prior to joining his forever home.  Leonardo has known only a life of neglect until the day we rescued him.  He needs a forever home where he can rest his head and sleep soundly knowing that he is loved and treasured as a member of the family.  If that's your home, please fill out an application at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org .
