Meet Ubert! Ubert is an adorable petite Shepherd mix born in 2015 and rescued in Texas. We were able to save Ubert along with several others from a severe warehouse hoarding situation. This poor boy spent so much time suffering through horrendous neglect and now we are so glad that he finally has a chance to have the best new life! Ubert has gotten all the medical care he needed with our vet partner. His eyes were cloudy as a result of tick borne diseases that he acquired that were never treated. All of this has been resolved and as you can see his beautiful eyes are back to normal and as beautiful as ever! Ubert is such a handsome boy and despite what he has endured is very sweet although a bit anxious.  Men scare Ubert, so he will need to go slowly with an understanding family if there are males in the home. Ubert doesn't really know what to expect from life, so he needs to progress in baby steps.  He is good with other dogs.  We can’t wait to see Ubert finally enjoying a warm, safe, comfy home of his own where he can get all the unconditional love that he has not known yet. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption
