Meet Packet! This handsome guy is a 1.5 year old Shepherd mix who weighs 42 pounds and comes to rescue from Texas. We got a plea from a high kill shelter and of course stepped in immediately to save Packet from what was about to be a very bad fate for him. Thank goodness we did because Packet is an amazing guy! He was not in very good shape when we got to him...he was missing a lot of his hair and his skin was so raw, itchy, and infected. We got him all the medical care he needed and now he is looking and feeling so much better. All it will take is just a little more time for his hair to come all the way back in and he will be back to his happy healthy self again! Packet is a charming dog with a sweet temperament. He is friendly with people of all ages, other dogs, and will be neutered and up to date on vaccines prior to placement in his forever home. After the neglect that he has suffered, Packet is long overdue for a home to call his own where he can finally be loved and adored unconditionally.
