Meet Chevy! Chevy is a 75-pound male American Bulldog mix who was born in 2016 and rescued from a shelter in the Carolinas. We're not sure what happened to Chevy and how he came to be covered in wounds and bites, but we suspect he was hit in the head with a fire poker. Despite an obvious rough life, Chevy is a sweetheart who is good with people, other dogs, with proper introductions! He will do best in a suburban setting, with an experienced owner and older children (if there are children). He is housetrained, great on a leash, neutered and
up to date on vaccinations.
Chevy is a lower-energy love bug who loves to cuddle up on the couch and snuggle with his person. The only thing is that he hasn't yet found his person. Or his person hasn't found him! If you are Chevy's person, please apply online at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue. All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption
Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
