Meet Ellie!  Ellie is a female Pit Bull Terrier mix born in August 2019 and rescued in Georgia.  We don't know how life could have been so unkind to this little pup who was found in a shelter at only three months old with a severe skin condition, eye infection and upper respiratory infection.  We are making amends to this pup for her terrible life, and she went straight to our vet to start treatment and begin the healing process.  Ellie's left eye is a bit different (she has a birth defect known as microphthalmia), but quite beautiful, and it doesn't affect her vision. Ellie is up to date on vaccinations (age appropriate) and will be spayed prior to joining her forever home.  She is good with people of all ages and other dogs and will make a wonderful addition to any family.  If you want to be part of Ellie's journey towards a happy life, please apply online at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
