This is Pennie!  Pennie is a female Hound mix born in approximately June 2018 and rescued in Texas.  Pennie was born without a paw on her hind leg, and although she gets around fine without the paw, she will soon be fitted with a prosthetic paw.   Pennie loves to go on walks but she is not high-energy. In fact, if she is walked a few miles a day, she just lays around the house the rest of the time! Pennie would need to be gently leash trained and introduced slowly to new places.  She is very sensitive to tone and has a gentle spirit. Pennie LOVES to play with her foster doggy siblings and is submissive with the Alpha dog.  She would do best in a home with other dogs and a fenced yard where she can run and play.  Pennie is crate trained but she is currently not being crated as she is housetrained.  Pennie is great with people and has the sweetest, kindest disposition.
