This is Zeka.  Zeka is a female Lab mix born in approximately 2005 and rescued in Texas.   Zeka is good with people of all ages and other dogs. Zeka is one of those dogs that breaks our hearts in two as we try to comprehend the neglect suffered by this poor senior girl.  When we rescued her, Zeka had a painful skin condition, eye inflammation, mammary tumors, she was anemic and her teeth were worn down.  We don't know for how long Zeka has been in this condition, but we do know that her days of suffering and neglect are over now that she's a Rescue Dogs Rock NYC dog.  Zeka requires daily eye drops for glaucoma (which Rescue Dogs Rock NYC will provide) and although she is blind,  she gets around easily without any issues.  Zeka has a host of other medical issues typical for her age.  As she requires frequent bathroom breaks, Zeka would do best with someone who is home most of the time.  We promised Zeka that she will soon be living a life that is far better than her abuser's life. and will make a wonderful addition to any home.
