Sara is a sweet, shy 10-pound Dachshund, born in 2018, who came into rescue from Alabama, pregnant. She was an owner surrender who had been living with multiple other dogs. Sara's puppies are going home soon and it's now her turn to find a home of her own.  Sara is good with other dogs.  She takes time to warm up to new humans, but she is oh so sweet.  She needs a patient owner who can give her the attention and time to come out of her shell and learn to trust ... and when she does, the reward will be immeasurable!  She is up to date on vaccines, and is scheduled to be spayed after she has finished nursing.
