Meet the handsome southern gentleman Chewie!  Chewie is a sweet, friendly, silly male Pit Bull Terrier.  Our veterinary partner estimates that Chewie is 2 years old at the time of intake in February 2020.  After we rescued Chewie, we discovered he had an old injury to his femur which required surgery. That surgery has been performed, and Chewie is recuperating nicely.  Chewie is outgoing and social - strangers, young to old, are just new friends to give him more pets! Chewie is good with other dogs but NO cats! He would do well with another dog in the home or he can be an only fur-child.  He would do best in the suburbs with a yard to run around in.
