Meet Chapito! Chapito is a male Shepherd mix rescued in Texas.  Our veterinary partner estimates that Chapito is 15 weeks old at the time of intake in March 2020.  This poor guy was surrendered to a shelter after he had been hit by a car and his owners could not give him the medical care he required.  Unfortunately, those owners left poor Chapito in incredible pain for days with the bone sticking out of his rear leg before they decided to surrender him.  That's when Rescue Dogs Rock NYC scooped up Chapito and although we got him to the veterinarian right away, it was too late to save his rear leg.   So Chapito is now a tripawd, but he's a happy, sweet little guy who is looking forward to a better life than the one he has thus far had.  Chapito is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  If you can give Chapito that better life we promised him, please apply to adopt Chapito at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
