Henry (TX) is a 60-pound male English Coonhound mix born in 2017. Rescued in Texas from a life of neglect and abuse, he was then attacked by his kennel mates at the shelter. Despite the attack, Henry LOVES all dogs: large, small, young, old. He bears some physical and emotional scars from his past, and is understandably timid with new people, but with the right person, Henry is
a sweet, funny (large) lapdog.
He is especially fearful of men, so he is looking for a home with a kind, gentle woman - an experienced dog owner with at least one confident, well-adjusted resident pup. His ideal home would be in a quiet suburb without a lot of street traffic, and with a fenced yard. Henry is housetrained, loves to cuddle and snuggle and will bond with his person. Please apply online to adopt Henry at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue. All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
