This is Frieda, a female Pit Bull Terrier mix rescued in Texas! Our veterinary partner estimates that Frieda is 9 months old at the time of intake in March 2020.  We suspect Frieda was hit by a car, as her hind leg had a compound fracture and her bone was exposed in her dangling leg.  Extensive surgery has saved her leg, and she will go on to a live an active life when fully healed.  Frieda is good with people of all ages and other dogs. If there are children in her forever home, they should be on the older side.
